How
To Choose and Join a Tournament
You
can register to join any of
our tournaments directly from
the iPoker.net Lobby. Just login
to your account and once you’ve
entered the Lobby select the
Tournaments tab. A list of available
tournaments will be displayed.
To join, highlight the desired
tournament and click on the
register button down below.
Note:
Tournament registration begins
60 minutes before the start
of the tournament and ends 20
seconds before the start of
the tournament. If you try to
register outside this time you
will receive an error message
and will not be registered.
You
will be asked to choose your
method of buy-in (either Cash
or Tournament Points are your
options). You’ll be prompted
with a Thank-you screen once
Tournament registration is complete.
It
is important that you remain
on site or comeback before the
start of the tournament. If
you do leave we recommend you
return 5 minutes before the
start to ensure you don’t
miss the start.
Before
your tournament commences you
will be called to your seat.
This can occur anywhere from
60 seconds to 10 minutes before
the Tournament starts. On the
site will appear a notification
that a Tournament seat is available
for your. You have the option
to go to the table, unregister
or join later.
If
you change your mind you can
unregister for a Tournament
at anytime up to before the
start of the Tournament. Simply
go to the Tournament tab, highlight
the Tournament you are registered
in and select “unregister”.

Tools
At
iVegas.com we feel that the
more tournament information
a player has before, during,
and at the completion of a tournament,
the better. With this in mind,
we have located a tournament
"TNT Info" button
in the main lobby above the
player registration list, and
on the tournament table where
it can be accessed during play.
With the click of a button,
a player can instantly view
up to date tournament information
that has never before been provided
in as convenient or detailed
a format! For the player’s
convenience, we have divided
the tournament information into
4 categories.
1.
Time Remaining - The "Time
Remaining" is a screen
that displays a countdown in
minutes to the next break, and
a countdown in minutes to the
end of the current round. Helpful
when you want to know when you
can take your next coffee break.
2.
Details - The "Details"
screen outlines details applicable
to the specific tournament.
The information here remains
the same from the start to the
end of the tournament.
3.
Statistics - The "Statistics"
screen is functional only while
a tournament is in progress.
It displays the current rankings
of all remaining players in
total chips order. It also provides
a running total of the chips
purchased through buy-ins and
re-buys.
4.
Prize Money - The "Prize
Money" screen displays
the distribution of the prize
pool, tournament points, and
other prizes. If the prize money
distribution is based on a percentage
of the pool, the amount of money
will be continually increasing
as the number of entries or
the number of re-buys rise.
If the prize money to be distributed
is a "fixed amount",
the payout amounts will be the
same before, during, and after
the completion of the tournament.
If tournament points or other
prizes are awarded, they too
will remain constant from the
tournament’s start to
its finish.

LET'S
MAKE A DEAL
Most
of our Tournaments now feature
this exciting new option. A
checkbox appears in the upper
left hand corner of the table
when there are 3 or less players
left in the tournament. Once
all 3 players check the box,
the tourney is paused and the
Pit Boss on duty is automatically
paged while the players are
in the midst of negotiations.
If at any time, one or more
of the players uncheck the box,
the tourney will resume. If
a deal is reached, the players
will notify the Pit Boss on
the terms of the agreement,
uncheck "Let's Make a Deal"
and raise it out to complete
the tourney. The Pit Boss will
then adjust the players' accounts
manually.
